Overview

This position will be responsible for building and maintaining partnerships at colleges, universities and trade schools, specifically focusing on civil engineering graduates. This role is critical and the most important as the first experience and impression with college graduates looking to learn more about Pape-Dawson and career opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all college candidate data tracking, reporting and analysis. 
  • Effectively communicate Company information such as job expectations, compensation, and benefits to candidates 
  • Manage a calendar and aid in the coordination of events to attend campus recruiting activities
  • Build and sustain strong working relationships with university/trade school professionals including careers services, faculty staff, campus organizations, societies, ambassadors and alumni that will advance Pape-Dawson Engineer’s presence on campus and attract high caliber candidates.
  • Design, implement and execute robust, innovative university/trade school specific recruiting strategies to attract and hire top talent.
  • Aid in marketing the Pape-Dawson Engineers brand by establishing a recognizable employer of choice reputation, both internally and externally
  • Work with the Marketing department to develop programs for high visibility of the Company brand with potential candidates and employees

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2 years' experience with full cycle recruiting in a technical industry
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional presentation and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to build, foster and maintain professional relationships with all level of employees within an organization
  • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices, especially as it relates to the recruitment and selection process 
  • Ability to work within a team environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain highly confidential information
  • Skilled in varied computer software applications
  • Must be able to travel overnight on occasion
  • Must be able to work 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed
