This position is designed to provide a unique blend of business analysis and data analysis to support an engineering program. You will work closely with the client to drive the successful implementation and management of program reporting through dashboards. This role requires a deep understanding of both business processes and data analytics, ensuring that projects are both strategically aligned and operationally effective.

Business Analysis:

• Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements, translating them into detailed plans and actionable tasks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify goals and establish key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Facilitate meetings to gather requirements, ensuring clarity and consensus among all stakeholders.
• Develop process models, workflow diagrams, and use cases to support project objectives.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

• Analyze and interpret complex data sets to provide actionable insights that support decision-making within engineering projects.
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau and Tableau Prep.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting platforms, implementing data validation and quality control measures.
• Support the development of predictive models and data-driven strategies that enhance project outcomes.

Program Support & Coordination:

• Coordinate and monitor project activities, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
• Manage project documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and status reports.
• Assist in the preparation of project budgets, resource allocation plans, and risk management strategies.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Process Improvement & Automation:

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within project workflows.
• Implement solutions that streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate new technologies and tools into existing systems.

Stakeholder Communication & Management:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Ensure that stakeholder expectations are managed effectively throughout the project lifecycle.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, data science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a hybrid role combining business analysis and data analysis, preferably within the civil engineering or AEC industry.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
• Proficiency in data visualization and analytics in Tableau and Tableau Prep.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Must be dependable, reliable, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to work 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed

• Proficiency in data visualization and analytics in PowerBI.
• Experience with large-scale civil engineering programs, particularly those involving data analysis and business process optimization.
• Experience in process automation and the integration of AI tools into business workflows.
